artdhd fixations

These illustrations reflected moments when I felt completely consumed by the overwhelming distractions pulling me in different directions. Creating them helped me process those feelings and refocus on what truly mattered: fulfillment. I came to realize that life isn’t too short—it’s actually long. And because of that, we might as well enjoy it.

At first, that idea may seem a little bleak, but for me, it became about reclaiming time—time outside of work, obligations, and the constant pressure to be productive. It opened the door to a different kind of world, one where creativity is enough. The phrase “life’s too short” carries a kind of urgency, like we’re racing against an invisible clock. But what if we didn’t rush? What if we embraced the time we have and allowed ourselves to move at our own pace—to enjoy life without the pressure?
